One of the most approachable styles, a golden or blonde ale is an easy-drinking beer that is visually appealing. Rounded and smooth, it is a classic beer known for its simplicity. The history of the Blonde ale finds its ancestors in the centuries old traditions of both pale ale and Kölsch. Likely a lighter version of the pale ale, which was brewed through the latter half of the 1800’s and called a dinner or sparkling ale.
