Introducing Calcannia from Clare Valley…

In perfect alignment with our purpose of supporting Australian family-owned wineries, Calcannia is crafted from grapes grown on a vineyard that was established by then owners, Penfold’s, under the guidance of Max Schubert which the Byrne family purchased during the 1970’s.  We also love that they are leaders in sustainable viticulture which includes their commitment to preserving and maintaining the natural environment on our properties, especially the Wetland environment at Scotts Creek Vineyard, which is home to many rare and endangered species.

The range includes outstanding Riesling and Shiraz as you would expect from Clare Valley but also two 95 point Halliday wines in their Grenache and Sangiovese so expect to see these at your local independent bottle shops in and around Melbourne very soon.
