Golding

WHERE TO FIND

Golding Wines is a progressive and dynamic family owned winery situated on the outskirts of the township of Lobethal, high in the picturesque Adelaide Hills of South Australia. You’ll love the fruit of our vines, but we think it’s our place and what we do here you’ll really fall for.

This land high in the Adelaide Hills is in our blood; we’ve been working it for three generations. It unfolds as the backdrop to a place perfect for sharing the good things: fine wine and food in the company of others.

This parcel of fruit was hand picked from our Western Branch Vineyard, whole bunch pressed, fermented on skins for one month and then aged in older French oak for twelve months. A complex and intriguing wine, it is savoury, with a citrus tang, herbaceous and bone dry. Notes of waxy honeycomb and dried herbs are present on the palate in this unexpected and punchy offering to the senses. Like the imminent arrival of a late summer storm, there is a wonderful tension between all the elements of this wine.
