Graeme and Suzanne Lunney conceived the idea for Four Winds in 1997, planting the first vines in ’98, moving to the property full-time in ’99, and making the first vintage in 2000.

Daughter, Sarah, has now taken over the reigns and has enjoyed a stellar few years winning a trophy for the riesling, maintaining a 5 star Halliday rating, a number of Global Awards for the label designs and most recently being named Australian Women in Wine Owner Operator of the year.
With one of Australia’s iconic Shiraz producers just down the road, it’s no surprise that the Shiraz is good, very good, 95 Halliday points good but this is no one trick pony with the Riesling picking up a trophy for best riesling at the Small Vignerons Awards and outstanding Sangiovese and Sangiovese Rose rounding out the portfolio.
